February 7th, 2010 by Fred JonesPeople that listened to President Obama's State of the Union Address you may have been aware that he was encouraging for more college education, better tax credits for those that go to college, and ways to lower expenses for college students as well as those that support the college market.
This idea is great news for people that are either in college or thinking about attending to college. Whether you are a new college student going for the first time, an existing student trying to get more credits, or a working adult who feels that higher education will help with career advancement, the new tax credits and policies that President Obama will try to pass this year will not only help you succeed but will help make sure that the financial burden of earning the degree will not weigh heavy for years later.
The revised plans will provide tax credits to those that are paying for college, and this can be either a student them self or parents who currently support their child with tuition or other education costs. In addition, there is talk of forgiving some of the financial debt occurred while going to school if the student upon graduation of their education will provide public service.
